No pilot animations + initial impressions (spoilers: I'm happy)

As we don't have a dedicated bug report forum yet, I'll report this here and throw in my initial impressions as well.

 

 

Pilot animations on the new pilot models appear absent in both the SPAD and Dr.I

 

This includes the idle animations as well as gestures and pistol movement.

 

 

 

 

Compare this to Rise of Flight:

 

 

 

 

Apart from this bug (which I'm sure is due to the fact that we're still in early access), the screenshots also speak for themselves.

 

Damn it looks good.

 

 

I find the planes suprisingly comparable in flight to the originals in RoF, though ground handling is a bit more of a handfull and groundloops on landing more pronounced, especially when landing without power. This is no doubt a product of the new engine.

 

I have no doubt Flying Circus will soon become our new online home, though I don't expect multiplayer to really pick up until we have a few more planes available.
