Does anyone have any suggestions to key mapping to a joystick with 10 buttons and a hat. I am trying the best configuration to use when I try to fly BoS. Thanks in advance for any help

I would find somebody to talk you through all of the various controls, such as radiators, supercharger speeds, boost buttons, etc who can tell you exactly what needs to be set up on your joystick and throttle and what controls can be relegated to the keyboard.

I don't have a Logitech joystick, but if I did, I would begin at the most basic level and start with something similar to this:

I am just curious. why separate the triggers primary gun secondary gun the both guns together. Thank you for your input.

You don't have to do it that way obviously, but I like to be able to fire only mg, or only cannon, or both together.  I don't really want to have to push multiple buttons simultaneously on the control stick to fire both at once, and the main trigger is a natural candidate for a button that combines them (although it is probably more realistic to simply have one button for mg and one button for cannons).  On my setup, I have a Warthog joystick, which has a two position trigger, so if I squeeze it only slightly, I just get the Machine Guns.  If I squeeze it all the way, I get MG and Cannons simultaneously.  Then I have another button that fires only cannons, so it's a little more streamlined on my joystick than it would be with a standard one position trigger.  There are a lot of guys that don't bother separating out the weapons, and if you want to do it that way, there is nothing wrong with that.  It's just that when flying planes like the 109 G-6 or the P-39 (I presume you don't have either), the 30mm and 37 mm weapons have limited ammo supply and favor being in a lot closer, so I don't necessarily want to be firing them simultaneously with everything else.

That makes perfect sense, Thank you so much for the feed back. You are correct I do not have either of those planes right now but I may some day. I Actually purchased the Flying Circus early release and was gifted the BoS. When I flew the BoS I actually liked it not at all the same experience I had with 1946 version.
