Can't start a mission in any of my scripted campaings, press start and it loops back round to the mission start screen. Tried in 5+ campaigns, all worked in 3004

Problem with the update 3.005 ... Ivans_War's scripted campaign from Juri_JS ... ..i have to delete the MSNBIM file ... from mission 1 and I re-open the MISSION file with the editor .. i get well to open the mission in the game without problem .. except that before playing ... I'm dead .. so back on the interface of the mission without being able to have played ...! Someone has a solution?

Well glad you solved your problem, but it was nothing to do with the problem I have. I have installed many of the scripted campaigns on this site in the last week so I have the latest versions. They worked in 3004 and now they don't in 3005

Please fix

Yes and no .. I had a bit the same problem as you ..... in 3.004 I had my two criptées campaigns that worked very well and in 3.005 when I launched the mission ... back to the interface of the mission .. The two campaigns that had problems were campaigns made by the community .. that integrated by the game .. I had no problem .. maybe .. asked those who made these campaigns .. to integrate the update 3.005 ..? you must also be patient the update is recent ...
Good luck !

3005c - well I was hopeful, but still no fix for scripted campaigns

Come on guys, why do I have to suffer so someone can drive a tank?

You may have got their money but I was about to buy BOK and BOBP - no way now if this isn't fixed soon

This will always be an "issue" when a new game version is rolled out often the user made campaigns will need to be updated by the creators to match the later build. Official scripted campaigns are updated with the new version. It is possible for the user to update the campaigns him/herself by resaving in the mission editor (procedure is on mission forums and elsewhere) or wait for latest version from campaign author which does not (understandably) always happen immediately due to real life constraints. Having to wait for updates or to DIY is small price to pay for new features that come with each update. Original IL-2 also sometimes had version compatibility problems, if it was simple and possible to maintain functionality of older missions with newer versions am sure this would be acted on, but this is the reality of the situation we have, and is unlikely to change
