Cannot create a new Career Error.

When i attempt to start a new career i get this error message.

I have verified my game files and updated today.

this is so frustrating i just bought a scripted campaign and i cant even play it

Whatever is causing this is not a general issue since I am also playing from steam and I can start a new career. So your best bet is to contact Il-2 Sturmovik support via the Store page with a complete description of the problem(s):  the forum is not very good at solving these sorts of issues.

I'm not on steam and I can't start campaigns. It's the 3005 patch that has broken something
