Iskander59 Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 So I was one of the people that bought an allegedly bad key from a "gray" site. Its gone I get it. Not disputing that. However, I cannot access any of the other content i purchased directly from 1C's website. It was my understanding Kuban, etc, were stand alone games. Yet I cannot run IL-2 at all. Not from steam or the launcher from 1C's website. It crashes after I attempt logging in. Ive made a support ticket but received no response. Is there something I'm missing? They seem to have revoked over 200 dollars worth of content that I bought directly from them, or is there another way to launch the game that i am unaware of? I am not trying to start a fight about keys, i just want to play the content i purchased directly from the developer.

Login issues on the main server aren't entirely unheard of. Support can take a day or two, so be patient if you can. It may be worth trying a re-install of the game, but best bet may be to wait for support. I would check your account to see if any of the 'gray' key codes are still there, it may be the system rejecting those codes. Do you get an error code when it crashes?
Iskander59 Posted July 19, 2018 Author Posted July 19, 2018 I deleted it off my main PC, made a separate install for the website launcher and tried that way but it still did not work. I dont get any error message, it just crashes after I enter my info and click login. Sad day :(. Thanks for your reply though man. I probably do need to just be patient, but its been frustrating essentially losing something i've loved playing for so long. Also yes it still says Key activated for the one that was removed on steam. so that may be the issue

I don’t have anything on steam so I don’t know what effect that would have.
Alexmarine Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 I have bought always everything from the Dev's site yet I am having those strange crashes too everytime I try to fly a separate collector plane or a Bodenplatte one in QMB... All the product keys are still present and active (I checked them just to be sure). It seems like it is happening at random people and on random installs...
Iskander59 Posted July 19, 2018 Author Posted July 19, 2018 Yes I did, so that may be part of the issue.

Is it normal that you don't get any confirmation email when submitting a ticket?
Iskander59 Posted July 19, 2018 Author Posted July 19, 2018 I made a ticket about not being able to access Kuban, etc when it happened over 24 hours ago with no response at all (G2A responded in less than 12 hours). but I did not mention unlinking my steam account (because I was not sure that was the issue). 10 bucks says they wont respond until the BoS sale is over. I will gladly buy BoS again, for its current price ($27) if they unlink my steam account before the sale ends. But recent events have made me a little skeptical about their customer service.
KesLenin Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 I am having same issue as you. I am sure many people bought the cheap games in good faith, thinking that a deal had been struck between the developers and the G2A site assuming a legitimate deal had been struck as it was an older title. It would be good if the developers would put out a statement, explaining the issue so it makes getting a refund more likely. In the meantime you can buy the discounted Battle of Stalingrad using the gift option at checkout, where it will sit in your account waiting to be sent and you thensend it to yourself once the old keys have been revoked.
Iskander59 Posted July 19, 2018 Author Posted July 19, 2018 Exactly, I just thought it was another place to get games. I figured there may be some shady individual dealers but the larger dealers with over 30,000 sales were legit. I guess i was wrong in this case. But anyway, thats a good idea i did not realize you could send it to yourself. Thanks man. Also small update: Now when i try to login to IL-2 it says i need to update my game, but it wont allow me to. However I am using my laptop (which only had it on steam) and not my main PC where i also downloaded the separate launcher. 11 minutes ago, KesLenin said: I am having same issue as you. Iskander59 Posted July 21, 2018 Author Posted July 21, 2018 Same. Did you read the updated sticky about the deactivated keys? ALSO My issue has been resolved. I can log into Il-2 and access my other content. Thank you Support team
