Mmaruda's retarded wishlist for FC

So in case you don't know, I am not a proper WWI buff, I don't know crap about those planes and what aerial warfare was in the day, aside from some old movies (Dawn Patrol ?) and some Discovery features. There will be those that will probably be all "this shit ain't realistic" or " DVII FM porked"... Honestly I don't know and I don't care. It's been a hundred years since the war, you won't see them birds at airshows, you probably will have to work your ass off to get some proper documents and data. That is not why I am here.

What is WWI flight siming to me? It's the purest form of virtual flight, none of that hight tech crap, none of that advanced tactics. Just you, the plane, the feel for it to learn what it can and cannot do your wits and a brutal stream of air murder covered in make-believe chivalry. But most of all, it's pure and simple fun - you wiggle that joystick and push that throttle and stomp on those pedal while continuously twisting your head like a parrot. It don't matter how realistic the FMs be and what the damage model is; at the end of the day it's a test of manual skill over and over. Pure goddamn bliss!

So what does it take to make it even more fun? Tell me, are you an old enough fart like me to have played Knights of the Sky?

Well, that game had some good shiznit init. Like being able to challenge an enemy ace to a duel with a brick wrapped in a letter dropped on his home field. You'd get a newspaper every now and then with scores for aces on both sides so you could see where you are in the whole ranking and strive to get the top spot. Even if that meant taking old man Manfred out in an unfair fight. You could also give a middle finger to command and just take off alone to get your glory level up, because who cares about staff planning and contributing to the war effort? It's all about me and my kill count!

Now, I know this isn't this kind of game, but with the whole all and new campaign feature, it'd wet my bed, if Jason and the dudes announced being able to do such stuff.

Bonus idea: 1CGS, once you're done with bringing us the ultimate WWI experience, make yourself a drink of good old JD, a thick one, lay back in a rocking chair and slowly, calmly get accustomed to the idea I am right now giving you for free, which is going to make you super-famous in the gaming world: go into the Dieselpunk 1920s! Go wild with plane designs and bring us a sim version of Crimson Skies (just call it something else, cause the license ain't worth the penny). I mean, how about busting Zepps for that sweet, sweet loot they have onboard and finally ditching the cross and allied marking for some good old Jolly Roger?

Ok, enough of me now, it's back to sleep and back to work.
