VKB Gladiator Question

I have tried to specify the 4 way Hat on the left hand side of the stick to 'Pilot Head Zoom in & out'. In game though when I use the button the head view goes up vertically, or down vertically as well as zooming. I use TrackIR 5 with up to date drivers. I don't have any other functions assigned to this feature. What am I doing wrong?

Its a Gladiator Mk1 btw Twist Grip which I use with T rudder Mk 3 Pedals.

Probable HAT are assigned Pilot Head controls, you need clear this.

 

BTW - An way to know is if a orange box appear in assignment for 'Pilot Head Zoom in & out' meaning that HAT is assigned too for others functions (is possible 3 per button).
