Hello gents,

Not sure if something similar has been posted yet, I was looking for a Steam grid view image for BoS and ended up making one myself.

I know Steam isn't popular with all of you, I just find the overlay feature (Shift+Tab) very handy and like to have all my games in the same place.

Anyhow, Google Images found me this very nice image: http://b.vimeocdn.com/ts/454/835/454835344_1280.jpg

Here it is in the correct 460x215 size (save it to your disk and set it as a custom image in grid view).

To add BoS as a non-Steam game and see the image, please follow these instructions.

  1. Add a Non-Steam Game.

  2. Make sure you Browse and select the actual Il-2.exe game executable, not the Launcher.exe, or you won't have access to the Steam overlay (unless you don't care for it).

You will need to manually run the launcher from time to time to get updates.

  3. You'll probably want to give the shortcut a more fitting name than just "Il-2".

Simply right-click the game added in grid view and select Properties to do so.

  4. Now right-click the game again and choose Set Custom Image...

Select the image I posted above.

  5. All done! Just restart Steam and make sure the changes have taken effect.

  6. Here it is in Big Picture:
