Map tutorials and spotting for a newbie

Hello, I've had BoS for well over a year now, haven't played it much but I finally want to be decent enough to enjoy the game. 

 

I can't seem to find a tutorial for map icons and what they mean, as well as what different terms mean in the briefing description. If somebody could link me helpful stuff it'd be much appreciated. 

 

The biggest problems for me since I started playing (I've played mostly SP): 

-Understanding the drawings on the map 

-Understanding the orders given in the briefing

-Spotting enemy planes and not losing sight of them
