Game closes after launching and logging in for the first time

Hello, I just bought the game via the website and have registered my key correctly. Nevertheless, after trying to login for the first time, the game closes without any error messages. Are there any folders with logs or can I delete the registry/other settings of the game (perhaps this will help)?

I'm having the same issue regarding the login screen gcbraun. I purchased a copy of the game straight from the IL-2 website after the whole "revoked keys" thing went into play awhile ago. Activated the key, downloaded/installed game and I load in up to the login screen just fine. When I try to login with the correct username and password associated with my new freshly bought key the game just crashes to desktop without any error message. I've tried following all the FAQs (port forwarding, disabling read only file permissions, firewall exceptions, etc...) and forum topics related to this and I can not get it to get past the login screen without crashing to desktop.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I do enjoy playing this game.

Seems to be an issue with most of the people who got caught in the revoked key situation. Still waiting on support to get back to me regarding this issue!

I'm downloading the update right now and I'll let you know if there is any change, but from what you said in the other thread I doubt it'll fix it. 

 

Edit: I just tried after downloading the update and no luck unfortunately. The only minor difference I noticed was that it "hung" a bit longer after the login attempt before it crashed to desktop.
