I would really like to get into skinning again (9 years later), with everything going 4K I feel like I'll be learning from scratch.  Here is something I did 9 years ago that was 1% completed.

The templates are there for all, you get yourself (or have already GOT) a graphics program and get yer head down and give it a go... There's plemty of help if you need it on the Forum so there's no problem there. Good luck!!

For sure, making a 4k skin is an other matter than making a 1024 (or 512 for the earliest IL2 skins) ... but essential techniques are still working, they just need to be adapted.

If you were able to make skins for old IL2, you'll be able to make 4k skin.

You'll soon discover how exciting it is to put so much details in your skin ... and also how long it takes !
