CanadaOne Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) Is there any chance of getting a wallet system in our BOX accounts like they have in Steam or is it just too much of a PITA? With new titles and planes popping up, it would be nice to have. And I prefer to buy BOX stuff here. That's it, thanks. Edited July 6, 2018 by CanadaOne
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 There aren’t many precedents for this. Wallets usually only exist in the big stores. When few people buy more than one product per year, it’s just not worth it. Why do you like to use a wallet instead of paying by card when the time comes to buy something?

Sometimes you have a dollar or two you might want to throw on for a future purchase. But I understand it might be a pain to manage if you're not geared for it.

I can understand that it would be nice to throw in some extra funds or gift cards to prepare for future releases. 1

But you're right, since there is not a wide variety of items to purchase, a wallet system probably isn't of much use.
Guest deleted@30725 Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 If you're really organized set up another savings account and put a little money in each month so by the time the release comes out you'll have a small cash fund to pay for the next release or as I did, buy the standard editions and buy the extra planes when more funds are available. You end up paying more this way, but it's easier to account for the smaller purchases and spread the cost as the standard editions of each release often have enough good planes to use.

I'm very unorganized, that's why I like the wallet system. I juice up my Amazon wallet over the summer when work is good - $20 here, $50 there - then when Christmas rolls around, I've got enough to cover a few "big" items for the kids and don't have to face the January blues when the bills come in and work has slowed down. And I can wait almost until the last minute to see what they want or need and it's at my door in two-days. Gotta love it.
