format HD and how to reinstall BoS

Hi all,

 

I need to format my HD and reïnstalling windows 10 and other progs. How can i reïnstall BoS? Is this automatic when i go to steam or il2 sturmovik? Can someone explain how to reïnstall BoS?

If you have the game via Steam all you have to do is reinstall it via Steam. All of the various collector planes and campaign packs are connected to your game account so it should all be there. You will probably have to set up your controls again though.

Thanks for the answer.

Just checked and game and 2 collector planes bought by steam.

But Yak1B and La5FN bought by il2 sturmovik. What about them? How to reinstall those two?

As far as I know all of the content is downloaded with the base game and the permissions you have to use them are just changed in the game as you buy access to them. This is why I can, for example, use the JU-52 as target practice even though I can't fly the plane because I haven't paid for it.

-Go to to the main website and log in.

 

-Download the launcher and install game

 

-Play

 

All planes you bought will already be in there.

Next time don't install games on C drive and you won't have this problem again. If you had them installed on D or any other drive you would have to only reinstall Steam and all games would still work on the new system.
