I don't have an answer, but am in the same boat... I'd really like to purchase Battle of Kuban, but that's only available directly from this site and my accounts seemingly aren't connected and I don't have keys from Steam. I don't want to take the chance of buying this campaign here and having my content separated.

What you need to do is run the game and use the account link functionality you can access there. This should allow you to link your Steam account to your account here and makes all owned content from both sources available together (if the process actually works). There's apparently no longer a separate cd-key provided by Steam.

I wouldn't bother too much with the support team, they don't seem to care much. I've been trying to get them to look at why the authentication server keeps dropping my connection during this link process for 8 days now, and so far they've been useless and unresponsive beyond a few canned copy/paste responses. I think the safest course of action is to simply buy everything on Steam when it gets released there, that way you never actually get locked out of your purchased content.
