"statDelayedStatFailed" error and incorrect mission results

I just got a stat related error after flying a mission and the mission stats are completely inconsistent with what actually happened. Since I thought the mission was successful, I'm no longer able to repeat the mission so I have to just accept the invalid stats.

 

It was a bomber escort mission. I killed 1 fighter near the AO, escorted bombers home, then received the mission success message. On my way to my airfield I encountered enemy fighters and took out 1 more fighter before landing successfully. Some wingmen landed too. The "Finish" button was green as-if the mission was successful so I finished.

 

When I got back to the screen where the stats are being calculated, right before you are shown awards and money for fighter kills, an error popped up saying something like statsDelayedStatsFailed or statsSomethingStatsFailed. I just remember the statsFailed part. Additionally, the mission results were completely wrong. It showed all of my wingmen being killed or captured and it showed that I crashed my plane but survived (see screenshot). The mission results are completely inconsistent with what actually happened. I killed 2 fighters, not 1, and many of my wingmen landed successfully whereas it shows them all being captured and or killed in these results.

 

I have flight records and tacviews of the successful battle and I've saved the data in the data/Missions folder before I continued, which I will include in here if asked.

 

I did fail this mission once or twice before my successful mission so it's possible that these results are old stats from one of those missions, but it still shouldn't have happened since I restarted the mission.

 

Anyone ever receive that error before?
