Campaign bomber escort idea

In campaign, I was thinking it would be great in the briefing at the beginning of the mission, it would be great if we knew what bomber type we would be escorting.

 

This would allow us to tailor the escort fighter a little to handle the mission and also for the 109 pilots in Kuban know if it is going to be a straight line race to the bombers target trying to keep up with the 190 A5's or a more sedate weave as we nurse Stuka's instead.

 

I would assume pilots sort of knew what bombers they would be escorting before taking off.?

Are A5 escorts in the english version noted as bomber escorts? In german language they are called 'Schlachtflieger' (ground attack aircraft) escort. On Kuban map I never had another bomber escort mission than Stuka escort.

Yeah, bomber escort for A5's in English.  Same as for Stukas and I have not had anything larger to escort on the German side.
