LP1888 Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Hi does anyone notice slight slow down when flying over built up areas ? Like look over your wing and then roll left to right. Anyway of getting rid of it running it on high with most graphics settings on low-meduim. Pc specs are i5 8600k 4.5ghz 16gb ram 2400mhz gtx 1070ti ssd thanks LP
Thad Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) Salutations, What you are describing is not unusual. Built up areas or areas with many objects or craft in them put a heavier load on ones CPU/GPU. (They have to work harder to display such items and or craft.) The higher your game graphics settings the greater the workload on your system and a possible reduction of frames per second. (Dependent on the power of ones computer gear) Edited June 23, 2018 by Thad added word

Unless it's really high, (e.g. 4K), your system should be able to run the highest settings without major drops below 60 frames per second. 55 minutes ago, LP1888 said: Anyway of getting rid of it running it on high with most graphics settings on low-meduim. You shouldn't have to run any low settings. This is not a typical experience; substantially weaker hardware is able to run the game smoothly. Edited June 23, 2018 by Mitthrawnuruodo
LP1888 Posted June 23, 2018 Author Posted June 23, 2018 Yeah I thought so I get constant 60fps but some slow down over cities mostly any tips to make it run a wee bit smoother
Thad Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) May I suggest increasing the size of your 'pagefile'. Perhaps double your RAM to 32 GB. (That's what I have) I can drop FPS but not lose any smoothness. I run the game at the Ultra settings. You have a better GPU than I. Edited June 23, 2018 by Thad

Memory usage can easily be verified in the "performance" tab of Task Manager while the game is running. 4 hours ago, LP1888 said: Yeah I thought so I get constant 60fps but some slow down over cities mostly any tips to make it run a wee bit smoother Before we can suggest anything, you'll need to tell us all your current settings. LP1888 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 Game set to high only thing not on low is the clouds it’s on medium mirrors off vsync on and 4K clicked to stop the bad stuttering do youse think it’s possibly an optimisation problem ? It runs smooth everywhere else just not over city’s and the FPS never drops from 60fps I play on a 42 LG tv and at 1080p sorry I can’t be more help with the graphics settings as am not at the pc at the moment. I get 75% gpu usauge and around 5.5 gb of ram usauge with about 5.5 in that says cached
Thad Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Are you running in 'Full Screen Mode'? If so, try turning it off.
LP1888 Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 Sorry for late reply not been at pc yeag it’s off
