From last 3.000 verssion i have this bug.

It happens to me that when I am on the game and I need to exit from it just on the screen to check the team speak or something. when I back my game run with less fps making the fly almost imposible beause the slow moovement on the camera. That isue happens to me also even without exiting from the game. Just flying normal and sudenly i got the Fps drop.

Sounds like something is or keeps running in the background causing reduction in fps. ?

In campaign I get FPS drops on take off and sometimes durring heavy missions. Doesnt happen in MP or in scipted campaigns/PWG or single missions though, or at least I can't rememeber it happening. For me it wasnt after 3.000. But 3.002. I really hope it gets fixed.

Have you tried increasing the size of your "pagefile"?

lFor Windows 10. Open the Control Panel.

Open System and Security.

Click on System.

Click on Advanced system settings.

As 'administrator', under Performance (Visual effects, processor scheduling, memory usage, and virtual memory)

Click on Settings button. You will be presented with a 'Performance Options' panel.

You can make your adjustments from there.

Click on Advanced along the top to manually (change) your virtual memory setting.

Don't waste your time with the pagefile; increasing its size won't help. It's used by the system to free up RAM by storing certain things on the drive. However, it's far too slow to be useful in gaming; if you're running out of memory, you have greater problems.

Tell us your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.) and game settings. Then, we might be able to suggest some changes.

I think my computer should be enought to run the game quite well.

 Intel I7 6700K 4.0Ghz

16 Gb Ram DDR4

GTX 970

I was running the game like that. And I never had a problem. Now since the path where stats (Tab) had changed that isue happens The game runs normal but after some time flying the fps fall and in combat is imposible to aim or to moove the camera. I tried to put less landscape distance, less shadows etc and the game runs worse, like less fine on camera mooves even it shows fps well. I have tried to put V sink, without etc.

I also have a visual bug with clouds that makes planes invisible if they had a cloud behind them.

I am concerned if is one of the old laucher bugs or something that my PC is running on the same time on the background.

Yes, your computer should run the game well at 1920x1080 resolution.

If you’re concerned that something is running in the background, check the ‘Performance’ tab in Task Manager while Il-2 is running. This information can reveal possible problems.

It it should show the GPU 3D at 100% most of the time. If not, something’s likely holding it back. Make sure that RAM, VRAM, and CPU usage aren’t excessive.
