Carreer missions

I have started a career flying the Yaks. I find the missions a bit repetitive and they can be grouped into three types. Escort bombers basically around the same mission path (basically a triangle) many times over. Then the ground troops cover flight around bridges. Finally the bomber intercept missions. But what is strange is that when comes a mission about intercepting bombers coming to the base airfield, the mission is cancelled the flights are suspended and a new day begins. It happened three times and it is very frustrating. Is this normal.

First in what campaign, Stalingrad, Moscow or Kuban?

Second, do you never have ground support missions or ground or troops cover missions, or ground transport attack or ground objectives attack missions?

I have also recon plane intercept mission not often but once a month at least. At 8.000 meters it is fun to try to get a Ju-88-a4 streaming condensation.

For bomber interception mission in my case they are taking place the same day as the original missions where planed not for the next day!

By the way I play a Battle of Moscow Campaign in a purelly Mig-3 squadron. And have a lot of fun still only at the 18th january 1942 and my 104th mission.

I was playing Kuban campaign. I got some ground support troops mission, which is to fly cover and attack enemy airplanes, but no ground objectives attack mission, and no recon plane intercept mission. I will continue the carreer and see what comes next. maybe I need to be patient.
