When viewing flight records there is no engine sound for attached cameras on AI planes

In flight records there is no engine sound for attached cameras on AI planes. I have a single test below to show the bug, but it occurs for any attached camera on any AI plane in flight records.. I apologize if this has already been reported but I didn't see anything yet after a quick search.

 

To show it here, I did a 1 vs 1 quick mission and did a flight record of a fly-by. I then viewed the flight record and made a video of the attached camera of my player plane (Yak1b) then made a video of the attached camera on the AI plane (190 A5).

Attached camera on my player plane. This sounds and works fine.

Attached camera on AI plane. There's no engine sound. You can only hear air as the plane moves and then you can hear my player plane pass by. I didn't show it here, but there is no engine sound for any of the attached camera views.

 

It's easy to reproduce the bug. You can record a flight that has AI planes around. Then when you view the flight record later just attach a camera to an enemy plane (ctrl+F2 then alt+F2). You'll notice no engine sounds, just the sound of air as the plane moves.

In fact it is the same logic as for " internal view " that are not heard during replays.

For attached views it's " internal view" sound  that is usually heard.

And as the bug is still present ...... same problem.

Hmm, this is not the case for me. It's not the "internal view" sound that I hear on the attached cameras of enemy/AI planes unless I'm misunderstanding you. I hear no engine at all on AI attached cameras. If I switch to the outside plane view of enemy/AI plan (ctrl F2), I'll hear engine sound then if I switch to attached camera on enemy/AI plane (ctrl F2, alt F2), I hear absolutely no engine sound at all. If I switch to my own plane's attached camera (F2, alt F2), I do hear the engine sound.

 

Easy test:

• Make 1 vs 1 quick mission and create flight record for 5-10 seconds then quit.
• Open up your flight record.
• Switch to your plane's attached camera (Alt F2). Notice the engine sound you can hear.
• Now switch to enemy/AI attached camera (Ctrl F2, Alt F2). Notice that there is no engine sound whatsoever.

 

I could've been misunderstanding you though.

Yes and it's the internal sound we hear .

It's even more audible with my own sound mod .. and in any case it does not make sense .

 

In replay mode , in internal view only the sound of " strong wind"  is heard and from attached view ,only the sound of the propeller is heard...

 

So no internal engine sound is heard in replay view because the script command "Cockpit = 1" does not work in replay view.  ( from what I could understand by working on the files. )
