Hey guys, I just got myself a new Mongoose T50 stick and it's awesome, i'm having a problem though:

The analogue lever on the stick works both as an analogue axis and as a button that activate when you move the lever.

My problem is that when i try to map this axis for Wheel Brakes, it only recognizes the button and not the Axis in BoX, anyone care to shed some knowledge? (perhaps someone who owns the stick?) ?

The only way I could get this to work was to manually edit the input file for the controls. Copy the entry for one of the sticks main axis (x/y) then find the wheelbrake entry and copy it there altering the x/y for "Z"

I believe some had some success with partially holding in the lever but this has never worked for me.

Would you mind giving me the directory to this file?

Thank you :salute:

HI

Its in the main game folder on the path data/input and the txt file you want to edit is "current" - using notepad works fine.

The line is approx. 1/2 way down - this is what mine looks like (the T50 is Joystick 5 due to all the other clutter I have or had)

Pull back on the lever past where the button triggers before you click to assign it as axis.

Then whilst holding it back a little click on the axis assignment then move all way back and forward.

It should recognize it fine then.

Btw that is a Mongoose stick not a throttle, had me a little excited there for a minute...

;)

I have had a similar issue with a different device.

What you need to do is be moving the throttle as you click on the box to select the assignment.  It will ignore what is being pressed first and only register the second thing.
