will flying circus' France map be released first or BoBP's map?

I do know BoBP is at least a year away still. Not sure when flying circus is set to release.

We have more intels on the bobp map than on the flying circus one but it doesn't necessarily means that bobp will be out sooner than flying circus; I really do not know on how they are going to make flying circus but maybe they can use their previous work on ROF and thus easing their working load ?

I really hope that the 2 of them plus Prokhorovka will be entirely interoperable with all aircraft and units.

I do know they really like to get the maps right before release and they are typically one of the last things  we get in the Dev cycle.

The FC map is much, much smaller than the BoBP one, so arguably it should take less time to build. 

 

However, I’m pretty sure development of the BoBP map started before the FC one, so it’s still anyone’s guess as to which will be out first.

Good point, anyone know off-hand the RoF map vs BoBp size? If FC replicates RoF, you could make a bastardized Battle of France campaign ?

I have no idea what size or area the map will be. I can't see them doing somthing the size of the ROF channel map at this stage but it will almost certainly be covered in trenches so it may not fit  very well for ww2. Saying that it will be fun anyway.

Alt reality Sickle Cut fails and war enters static phase? Have to use Pe-2s as Potez anyway, so accuracy will be a touch fluid...

Yes you are right. In Jason's first announcing of Battle of Bodenplatte, Flying Circus and Tank Crew, he stated 100x100km approx.
