I ordered a stick from Virpil a couple of weeks ago now, and haven't seen anything other than that the order was 'confirmed.'  Getting a little frustrated, opened a ticket about it awhile ago and haven't heard back.

Anyone with experience ordering from Virpil (particularly from the US) care to share the general timeline of how this worked for you?  Everything I ordered is in stock, so it's a little weird that putting the stuff into a box has taken this long, or that it's actually shipped without notification.  I feel like I'd start to suspect a scam if I hadn't seen so many people here successfully buy their sticks.

It has been quite some time since I ordered mine, seems like mine took around 3-4 weeks from date of order to date of delivery to my place here in the U.S.

Thanks dburne!  That's not too terrible, then.  Did you get a shipping notification or did it just show up at your door?

I got a notification that it had shipped with an EMS tracking number.

One final question dburne, and I'll stop spamming!  Roughly how long did it take between order confirmation and shipping confirmation?

Watching with a lot of anticipation as I have an order that I am waiting for as well. I ordered, and had it confirmed, but I haven't received a notification. I also submitted a support ticket for which I have not received an answer. Hoping that I hear something soon.

Yeah, I don’t understand the time between order and shipment.  They’re in stock - just have to put the thing in a box?  Or are they assembling them per order?

I suspect it is the latter.

IIRC mine took around 10-14 days from date of order to having a tracking number where it shipped.

I will tell you though, they are well worth the wait.

I got nervous waiting as well. It took 7 weeks to get mine.

It is worth the wait. The T-50 exceeds all expectations. It will be even better when they get the software fully fleshed out.

So Virpil got back to me - they pointed out that each item in the store has an estimated processing time (working days) listed at the bottom of the page.  I hadn't noticed that number before.  So just add those up if you're ordering multiple items.

Mine took a little over 45 days to get to me.

The problem they have is they give you no notice via email or other wise that it is being processed.

No news makes people wonder WHAT is happening.

2 support tickets later and I still did not have a firm ship date.

when it did get shipped it just listed (sent) on my ticket.

A little better communication on their part via emails or their web site would greatly help there business.

Decent stick so far, except mine has a little drifted on the Y axis, which I think is caused by a loose bolt.

I already have the T50 stick and base and I am very happy with it. But indeed their comms are in dire need of improvement... ☹️

It took over a month to get mine from Belarus to Canada.  The express EMS delivery time they advertise is a little misleading.  But it showed up in good condition.

Same boat here, ordered July 09 and still waiting.

In their defense, they reply to emails and give reasonable explanation.

Once they post the EMS tracking should be 4-7 days.

Keep in mind EU people take summer very seriously, most are by some lake, sea, or ocean of at lest 2-3 weeks this time of the year.

Also waiting on my MFG pedals, the Croats are off until Aug. 06 this time.

Workaholism is getting propagated by the multinationals though, I hope it will take a long time to implement.

It is now a month later, they say they are terribly backlogged due to large number or orders, rep. says will get back to me later, after he/she could not even provide a shipping estimate.

Are these guys legit?

Chill out man. They just recently come to market with a BRAND NEW PRODUCT. Many issues can come up in this certain conditions, especially if you work in Russia (like I am) or Belorus. Business is business. What matter - you will get in the end a very high-end product.

P.S. I'm same as you now waiting for my WarBiRD  now. And can't fly at all because my warthog base is dead for like a week now. Let us be patient. Sry if my English is not perfect.

Dear Xxxx Xxxxxx,

I'm very sorry about this - our logistics team is swamped with dispatches at the moment due to the incredible demand!

This order was placed as a "guest" (not logged into an account) however the secret key would be included with the original confirmation email. You will also receive status emails directly.

I will contact our logistics manager for an answer regarding your order - thank you for your patience, it's much appreciated!

Thanks,
VIRPIL Controls Team
