IL2 Not working for new email despite having been installed

Hello all, as the title suggest IL2 is frustrating me because I switched my emails and now I cannot login with my game. I have bought this game in 2014 for Xmas and deleted the old email (for personal reasons). Now, I switched, and even support can't help me.  I registered through steam and through the website, but I cannot login. Please help

It might not be as quick as you would like PinkeyeAce, but someone should get back to you and be able to help. There's a flight sim expo happening in a few days in Vegas that the team are preparing for so, support might be a little short staffed right now.

This might be a stupid question...but have you tried entering your old email and password to login, or are you using your new email and password?

I think that the email only functions as a username for login purposes - i  don't think the server actually pings the email address to see if it exists. So you might be able to still login that way if Il-2 has your old email. 

I think the support team SHOULD be able to switch emails but I imagine there are some issues with verifying that you are the account holder, etc. It might also be a problem because you have it through steam and the support team may have less control there. But you say that support can't help you. Have you lodged a ticket then and gotten a response?

I tried to send them tickets about my issue but even I am clear on what happens they don't understand

What evidence have you sent them to show that you have purchased BoS? You say you bought it via Steam, does it show up in your games library list there?

Doesn´t steam have a support that could help you with their account? (Or are the tho logins interconnected, or dependent in some way?)

What is the response you’re getting? Are they asking for more info or just not sure what to do? Maybe post what you sent them and their reply maybe we can interpret a bit and help you out.
