Legioneod Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Small clip I made to try and recreate a guncam look. First video I've ever edited or really made. I plan on making more in the future with better effects. It's really blurry but I'll probably make one that looks clearer. 4
falle96 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Holy shit dude, that looks great! The faded out colors are fantastic! How did you do that?

Just adjusted the saturation (I think) to give it almost black and white look and then adjusted the contrast to fade out the background a bit. I also added some blur in order to give it a more fuzzy look, I didn't want it to look too sharp and clear. Still very new to all this and could like to improve. I'm gonna experiment with some camera shake when the guns fire as soon as I learn how to do it. Edited June 4, 2018 by Legioneod 1

Let me know how you figure out the camera shake, I've been thinking about doing that to my videos as well.

Just started using this the other day: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/ It's called DaVinci Resolve, if you scroll down you can find the free version, it's good and isn't much different from the payed version. 1
R6ckStar Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Wow, I am amazed, only thing I noticed wrong was the blue from the sky, everything else just looks spot on nice job

I didn't want to take all the color away so I just adjusted the saturation to give it very subtle tones, that way it looks like an old color film. Some of the actual color film is quite vibrant but I wanted it to be almost unnoticeable. Edited June 4, 2018 by Legioneod
Legioneod Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 New Vid. Pretty happy with it but I still need to add the camera shake and maybe make it a bit more clearer, its kinda hard to see where the rounds hit. 1
Legioneod Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 New Vid, gonna make multiple versions to see which one looks best. This one is alright though I'm not super happy with the look just yet.
