Rain amount not appearing to be affected by setting

Hi There,

 

In testing one of my servers missions we are finding that the new aircraft (spitfire mk9 and 109 g14) are basically unusable as the rain effects make it nearly impossible to see out of.

We thought this may be that we had the rain set to the heaviest setting, but I have adjusted the mission to set the rain to 10 instead of 100 and it is still nearly impossible to see.

Shouldnt the prop wash actually be pushing the water off the windscreen and helping with visibility?
