EAF19_Marsh Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 That seems a long way forward (or the camera is in front of the face - the sight is huge. Other pics suggest less obscuring of panel, but I admit I have never sat in one that had that gun-sight. What is the cylinder mid right, BTW?

unreasonable Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Well this is what it looks like in my set up, when the zoom is fully back - ie widest fov. I try to put the default eye position about where I think the RL pilot's eyes are located., by using the outside view to see where the eyes are relative the headrest and elements on the canopy. It is very obvious in many videos of people playing in MP, that many people put their default eye position as far back and high up as they can get it: eyes on stalks growing out of the back of their heads. Whatever floats your boat.... Compared to the photo the sight in my picture looks about the same size, but the photo is obviously from a considerably lower view: either the camera held below the eye line or the head ducked towards the sight. Just disregard all this... if the geometry of the 3D model is correct which I have no reason to doubt, how big it looks will be hugely sensitive to your eye position since you are so close anyway.
