Sternjaeger Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 The gunsights would probably benefit from a dimmer/switch off setting, since they were turned on only for dogfight, since the light would only cause disturbance when not needed. The Revi C12/D in particular had switch/dimmer knob at the base (the one with "Aus" written on it): the principle was that when the writing Aus was pointing at you, the gunsight was off, then you had to turn it clockwise (as seen from the top) to switch it on and increase brightness. At the moment the knob is turned just a bit to the left, which would be a very low light setting, so perhaps that could be fixed if there's no intention of doing the reticle switch/dim thing? 4
Sternjaeger Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 apologies, the turning is counterclockwise.
Emgy Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) Yep, gunsight toggle or dimmer would be nice, it gets in the way when spotting at long range. Edited January 24, 2014 by Calvamos
kiwi_viper Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 (edited) making it brighter specially in VR would be good, there nothing like they should be if you move your head 2mm its gone thats bs ive seen a real Spit gunsight they dont just dissappear. should be more like the Clod or dcs sight there much more realistic in vr Edited November 26, 2022 by kiwi_viper 2
