Texas has room. :)

No state tax income tax either.

Lived in San Antonio for eight years.  Good place.

I'm half-Sicilian, but have never made it to Italy. Someday for sure.

Thanks for the all the well-wishes. Back to packing.

See some of you in Vegas soon!

Go.  Rome is the greatest walking city on earth.  You can't turn a corner without getting smacked by history.  I loved Florence too.  So much that I have yet to see but every time I have gone it has been fantastic.  Italy is also where I found my favorite wine - Barolo.

Knights fan here too! Can`t wait the finals to begin. Sorry Caps, you have to wait for another year to win the cup ?

I’m a bit surprised of this really.

You could visit Sicily and Malta and begin to considere seriously Operation Husky may be, the best scenary for an Italo-American simmer/producer.

Good luck with the move!

I had to do that a few years ago. Missed out on the P-40 release by about three weeks. ☹️

Hope it goes quick and smooth, and you get settled before the heat hits.

Jason,

Welcome to sunny Las Vegas!

You will love it here, and don't worry about that "hand-egg" team coming in a couple years. Hockey is where it is at.

If you live in Nevada (the state) it is Neh-vah-dah

If you live in Nevada, Iowa (not many people do...) it is Neh-vay-dah

We are going to start to fly to Vegas in July. Just not sure yet if we are going to use the mighty 350 or the obsolete Boeings :P Maybe next year I can to try show up on Sim Expo. Good luck on your new home, Jason !!

Vegas was the hottest temp I’ve ever experienced. Took a trip there in August some years back. (work sent me to a trade show) I didn’t look at the temp during the day, but at 2:00 am that night it was 102F. Must have been a buck twenty earlier in the day at 2 pm.

I was in the Napa valley back in about 2004/2005 one June and it was reaching 44 Celsius (111 Fahrenheit) for that few days. The heat made breathing difficult for an Englishman ?

Moved on to SF after that where it got considerably more bearable.

Ahh...yes, you need a jacket there most days.

I went to school in SF for a few years.
