I watched DP2 yesterday, and I had a blast. IMO it was even better than the first part.

You didn`t miss anything with the Star Wars movie. All is forgiven, George Lucas.

I won't be seeing Soylo.  From what I've heard from those who did, it is forgettable, and you're not missing anything.

I just read this post instead of moving my furniture so that I can have my carpet changed. I feel your pain.

I had not really noticed the absence but I have spent most of my spare time flying this great sim.

Happy Holiday and safe travels!

Best of luck with the move, hope it goes smoothly and is relatively hassle-free.

Thanks for the update Jason.  Here's to things being as smooth as possible *toasts*!

Use the move to unload some useless crap.

Do make time to catch DP2 it's good. I cried like a Frenchman that got his baguette caught in his bicycle spokes.

What state are you relocating to?

Can't wait for you to get back in the game and try the new stuff. The G14 and Spit IX are pretty incredible. You'll love them.

Also can't wait for Tank Crew and Flying Circus pre-orders and early access!

Your team is doing great work!

Good luck Jason.  Come on out to NC.  Nice place, costs half of California, and decent tech (not Silicon Valley, but still good).

Yes, finally free of CA state income tax, horrid gas tax and crappy gun laws.

It was on the list Pat and my ex-wife and I seriously considered NC or SC back a few years ago, but after divorce #2 I decided to head back to fabulous Las Vegas, NV! For those that don't know, it's where my '777 AVG' squad was founded, which eventually became '777 Studios' when I decided to get into the industry as a commercial venture. So, 777 is simply going back to it's roots in Nevada and I'm a sapper in DCS Nevada map. Sabotage time! :hunter:

No state tax income tax either.

I almost moved to TX this time, oh how I love Texas women, but 2.5% property tax killed that plan. Clark County NV is about 1%. And I'll be damned if I become a Cowboys fan.  Wait, actually, now I will have the Raiders down the street soon. I guess I'm going gagsta! And go Knights!

And Hooves lives in Ft. Worth. You guys should hook up. Requiem is nearby too. There's lots of Texas based simmers.

Indeed. Nevada is nice, I spent 20 years in Arizona and we considered (at the time) Nevada like a extension of Az.  Lovely terrain in both places.

As for our women, Hank agrees with you

Once you get settled go buy some  celebratory 30 round mags.

The Mandatory Loyalty to America's Team was repealed after the triplets left in the late 90s. They've sucked ever since.

No surprise on the Vegas origins for 777. When I was in Vegas with my brothers I actually saw a mechanical slot machine which had the exact same design on the spinning wheels as the 777 logo from RoF, or was it the other way around ;)

Thanks for the heads-up, Jason!

Even though risking to sound like a smartass, I'd like to inform you, that P.S. stands for 'post scriptum', which basically translates to 'after script'. Which means that if you add another P.S., it has to be written as P.P.S, not P.S.S. It's the 'P' that gets added, not the 'S'.

*smartass-mode deactivated* ?

Thanks for the news Jason! Everything is good on the frontline!

I retired to Florida a couple of years ago.

Absolutely love it!

No state income tax either ( though not applicable to me anyway any longer ), and no sales tax on groceries.

Lots of sun, lots of golf courses.

Moving is a bitch..................  the older you get the more crap you collect............  donate, yard sale, trips to the dump.........  paring it down is the way to go........  especially if you're down sizing.  I'm going to retire again one day soon and the plan was Idaho............ now we're having Great Grand Children, so the spousal unit says we can't go anywhere.  WE is a optional condition, I can always go to Idaho............ or back home to Guntersville AL................  ROLL TIDE.............

Thanks for the update Jason, and stay out of trouble at the simmers convention, or stay out of jail at least

Cheers

Oh to get free of the Democratic Peoples Republik of Kalifornia !!!

Sons family are here in the SF Bay Area so I guess Andymom and I are stuck here too.   Besides we have really good healthcare near us and at our ages we kind of need that.  LOL

All the best to you, Jason.

PS.. Andymom and I are rooting for the Knights since they took out our Sharks.   Oh, well... maybe next year.

I’m a fan of the Knights too.....but they are going up against my beloved Capitals. This is finally the year that Ovi can get the cup!!

In all seriousness, good luck with the move!

This why I don't move house!

Good luck Jason. It'll be worth it in the end.

Good luck!
And if/when you'll need FC1 testers I'd be happy to participate.

No, no, no! Ovi has to lift the cup, otherwise I'll have to consider the hockey gods to be kaputt. ?

Hope your move goes well.

Oh and there are one or two (can't remember) Pigs in Las Vegas, so stay in line, we are everywhere...

When you get there could you do me a favour and count just how many light bulbs there are in Vegas? I couldn't manage it in the limited time I had there. Is it more than the number of grains of sand or the stars in the sky?

Best of luck with the move. Cheers.
