Limit VR view always on despite menu unchecked (SOLVED)

Hi guys, Ive been flying successfully in VR without the "Limit VR view" option in the game menu checked. Now however it seem's to of come on and i cant get it to disable no mater what i check in the menu? Has my install gone wrong do you think or is there something silly im missing or an ini file line i can alter to stop the Limit VR view option? Maybe a hot key shortcut im not aware of?

Are you flying MP or SP when this happens?  IIRC, some MP servers do not allow this setting to be turned off.

Also it automatically gets enabled on expert difficulty no matter what you set it to in the options.

AH no im playing single with many easy options on in a customs overall setting. Would one of them automatically turn on the limit view option?

It's odd.  I believe if you check anything other than the easy green/red options, VR limits are forced on.  I wish they would just make it a difficulty setting, or leave it as an option that isn't affected by difficulty.

thanks molotovb ill try resetting the difficulty to the pre-set ones and see if that resets it

Thanks guys i found it. Within the Realism settings I had "Allow Spectators" unchecked. I checked it and the limit VR view went away so im no longer trapped!

That seemed to be linked not only to the Limit VR View but also stopped external views as you suggested
