Multi Engine Bindings

I find it odd that engine number 1 is to the left while engine number 2 is to the right. Most dual throttles on the market have most of their button functions on the right throttle, meaning I'm more inclined to have the right throttle set as engine 1 so it can be used with single engine aircraft. Can a function be added to allow us to switch which engines are considered number 1 and number 2, or alternatively have the names of the bindings changed to "left" and "right" engines? As it stands now I have to re bind these settings to switch between multi engine and single engine.
