Pilot body in the cockpit?

I saw a video of flying Circus when the pilot was shot he simply dissapeared. Strange. Not the case in ROF

Well you're doing a bang up job.

Why thank you, I wish I could say the same. Don't take it too personally if I don't take everything you say to heart. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though and say if that was the case, then how disappointing.

I'll add that maybe next time you do us the privilege of showering us with your "expertise", I'd tone down on the level of arrogance you exude.

With all the time I’ve logged doing 3D work, including rigging  - yes compared to you I’m an expert.

Pilot bodies are not happening - grow up..

Well you just made one hell of an assumption for all you know he could be the Einstein of game development, the amount of hubris in that drivel you keep spouting is comical and somewhat depressing at the same time.

P.S. here are some of the best remedy's for pink eye since, and i'm assuming here you get it a lot................

  • Wash all of your sheets.
  • Take zinc supplements.
  • Apply cold compresses to your eyes.
  • Flush your eyes out regularly with clean water.
  • Get lots of sleep.)

Unintentionally ironic post of the month.

I'll take your word on it Mr Person on the Internet

Don't take anyone's word. Analyze it yourself.

Pilot animations would have to be tuned for each aircraft individually. We currently have 34? (I've lost count). That's the minimum number of animated crewmen we'd need.

Current aircraft animations are usually just simple translations or rotations of rigid parts. Humans are rather more complicated. Therefore, those 34 pilots would likely require more animation work than several entirely new aircraft. Are they really that valuable?

Of course, the technical challenges would have to be solved first. Unfortunately, that's tricky to analyze without seeing inside the engine.

Can't imagine it would take that much work to polish that up a bit and add animations.

Claims that you're unable to support with evidence attract disagreement.

Yes, it is.  When killed a gunner will slump over.  Shortly after that it will disappear.

Enough of the personal attacks already. It’s rather pointless.

I simply responded to the accusation and provided context for my response.

Yes 3D work is an area of expertise - some of us have those. Sorry if that gets your panties in a twist.
