ChanceBrahh Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Im looking to stream some il2 but it makes it extremely hard to when the viewer sees this from my desktop. Is there any way i can set it to show one... like a merged image?
variable Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I don't stream much, but it looks like you just take one eye - prefereably your dominant eye since that is the one you aim with. I noticed that IL2 shows the left eye on the desktop monitor, which for many people is their non-dominant eye, so it's weird watching people shoot and it doesn't look like they are aiming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1XwLFRxSRw
dburne Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Not sure what device you are using, I think with the Rift it has an option to mirror image to desktop. Might be in the debug tool.
chiliwili69 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) Yeap! with the Rift you can use Oculus Mirror to display just one eye (left or right) the "Oculus Mirror" tool (Located at C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics) which displays what you actually see in the Rift. You have a number of options (described at https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/pcsdk/latest/concepts/dg-compositor-mirror/ ) With the Vive you can use SteamVR Display Mirror, although it seems it doesn´t use the actual image displayed on the headset before lens distortion is applied. I used Oculus Mirror here: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/30436-pixel-density-supersampling-at-steamvr-oculustraytool-and-oculusdebugtool/ Edited May 21, 2018 by chiliwili69
