I did find out today the duration of the Moscow campaign, it goes on until the 20/04/1942!

 

That is at some days from the beginning to the campaign of Karkov summer offensive by the Soviets that shall lead to the Battle of Stanligrad…

 

Is this normal or are all campaigns this long?!

I personally play the Moscow campaign on a day to day basis and it is  a lot of fun but I am going to finish the Kuban campaign in 3 years?! 

 

I do other flights and missions but outside the Campaign even scripted campaigns ones.

I think it depends on the aircraft one is flying, and historically how long those were used in the specific battles.

 

I started out with a Spit campaign in Kuban, and it did not last too long, I think it was around 35 missions or so for me.

On Mig3 in the Moscow Campaign I am at the 75th missions and it is only the 20th january 1942 but like I did write before the Campaign does go until the 20 april 1942. 

A very long Campaign and I missed only 6 days of combat due to a wound + 10 to 12 day due to bad weather.

Six months for Moscow.

Five or six months for Stalingrad.

Kuban can take a couple of months going east to west before Stalingrad. It can go for a few more months east to west.

Yes, still this is a total of max 14 months.

I think and hope that in that time we shall get Bodenplatte.
