109g-4 Wicked Games

This is a single sortie on the WOL server.

 

A week or two ago I jumped on to fly some TAW only to find the server was down, so myself, Sixfour and Headwarp jumped on WOL and found amazingly that axis was out numbered. I had never flown the 109G-4 so figured I would give it a go. I was absolutely expecting to hate it, the real life benefits it had (better radios, better wheels) do not translate into benefits in this game, they just make it heavier and slower. However the G-4 had other ideas.......

 

If you have read this far down I'm impressed, most people don't bother. I wanted to use Chris Isaak's original song for this but it is blocked for youtube use so found a cover. Also the sound was bugged on my recordings which is why there is no in game sound but I actually prefer it that way, makes it seem even more like a bit of a 'love letter' to the G-4.

BF109-G4 is my favorite variant at the moment. Almost every opportunity there is to fly one I take it.  Thanks for the video - good work!

 

 

Interesting watching 2D videos of it. Those cockpit bars a nowhere near as obtrusive in VR. Having one of your eyes being able to see past the bar almost eliminates their presence.

Yeah I think I will take it out more often, it was fantastic! I can only dream of VR at this point, it sounds amazing though!! I am aiming for my next system to include the requirements to run VR.
