How do you get IL2 and teamspeak to work together. I use two monitors, in others games I set up the graphics of the game as borderless and put teamspeak on the secondary monitor and scroll my mouse across to teamspeak

Hmmm...

I just start TS before I start the game, and leave it at that.  Once in game I don't have to switch TS channels, so no big deal.

I do recall that if you launch BOS before Ts it will not recognise the ptt button with out alt tabing. Just launch TS first and all should work fine. The ptt will work and you will be able to see everything on the second monitor. Of course if you want to change channel. .... you will have to alt tab to ts.

Always TS first, have your keys for changing channels ready (if needed) and make sure they don`t overlap anything important in BOS. It can be a bit of a pain if they have separate channels and you need to swap to it during flight.

Perhaps I will consider a separate monitor just for TS one day.

what’s benefits of teamspeak over discord?

I find discord is easy to work with and very user friendly...and switching between programs doesn’t give me any issues...

The main reason my squad uses TS instead of Discord is because we use Whisper Channels ie we like to be able to talk to everyone in the same channel but occasionally only talk to our wingman or our flight or only the bombers we are escorting.  Discord does not have that functionality. You just have one big channel with everyone talking at the same time.
