La-5FN missing instrument lights?

Greetings. I'm a bit curious whether the FN should have the lights or not, as the regular La-5 have those and FN doesn't. Did they run out of bulbs perhaps?

Here, La-5 has instrument lights and cockpit lights and technochat reports those too. FN has only cockpit lights.

The FN lost the aileron trim, too. There are no pilot changeable tabs on wings. I presume this is historical, right?

Yes, read the notes included with the plane.

The FN has a cockpit light instead of the instruments being backlit. Its a step backwards but i assume the devs did their homework.

After a rare glimpse of brain activity, I figured out to check the panel myself... the FN doen't even have the switch for instrument lights while La-5 has it

No worries, not a bother at all.  The designers (in real life) probably removed the instrument lighting as a cost-saving measure. Same sort of deal with the Yaks.

I love instrument lights. I find instruments in most crafts hard to read in the presence of any shadow and use them whenever possible. The loss of the lights makes the FN harder to read at a glanse for me. Unfortunate.
