Tank COAX MG Problem?

I will keep it short and sweet.

 

Why does it need to reload the tank's MG if you switch from shell to MG? Surely they are independent systems, and if you wanted to fire mg you would just jump on it and It would be ready and vis versus if you went from MG to shell the last shell would still be in the barrel so you would not have to reload it. Seems strange to me that you would have to reload MG or shell if you wanted to fire shell or MG? If I am right please fix devs.

I noticed that too but don't worry, it will all get revamped with Tank Crew.

You're right but when others have brought it up in the past it was put down as a game limitation.  While you can have multiple triggers and weapons on aircraft one might need to switch between sights and have different reloading scenarios so ... I don't know.  I too think it will be addressed in the tank game.

RE the sight change. Would a real gunner have to change that? I'm guessing as the MG range tape is on the main she'll tape they would have to adjust?

I would not be too sure about that. The gunners of the Bf110 E2 and He111 H6 still empty their drum magazines and don't reload them. So every time they, or you, want to open fire on the enemy's next approach, they, or you, first have to reload the gun. It is simply one of the things the Devs don't care that much about.

I still wish we had some Stalingrad tank missions aside from the defaults.
