Gambit21 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I've been wanting this for a while, and someone else just brought it up as well so I figured it was time to formally request. We need the ability to detect via editor logic, when an entity is damaged or destroyed by another linked entity. Example, I want to attach a radio transmission or subtitle MCU to a certain event, in this case the player getting two kills. I use "On killed by" object link all the enemy aircraft in the area to the player aircraft, into a counter set to "2", then the "That's Two!" radio transmission. "On object killed" could also be used as a report, linking the other direction from the player aircraft to other units etc. Either one works, but we need one or the other as this will add a ton of functionality when building missions. We can already link events to when an entity is damaged for killed, but the added functionality of triggering events when an object is killed by the player will be a big help to immersion. The game already knows "under the hood" who killed who, so adding these triggers should be more than possible. 1
