No BoK on Steam?

I noticed Battle of Kuban is not available to purchase on Steam like the previous titles. Is it not fully released yet or something?

You can buy BoK here works with your steam titles.

I can confirm. First I bought Battle of Stalingrad on Steam and then Battle of Kuban off-Steam. Both work for me without starting Steam.

It is better to buy directly from developers as opposed to middleman (Steam) which significantly cuts into developers profit.

Yes, I bought BoS on Steam, and still use it through steam, but I have bought  BoM, and BoK, and collector planes directly from the Devs. I still have automatic updates. BoS and all of it's expansions work through one unified client.

 

The reality is, you actually have all of the necessary files from every expansion and for every plane. They just aren't accessible to you unless you buy them. When you buy a new expansion, you don't actually have to download anything. You just open your client and its unlocked.

I bought both BoS and BoM on Steam, then BoK and all the planes here at their shop. Download their installer here:

and you don´t need Steam anymore to run BoX.

Yes, because those updates will be downloaded by IL2 standalone client which works without Steam.

If you have bought BOS from Steam, then all other titles go into Steam automatically, even if you buy it at their shop here.  But not if you buy the first title from their shop here?
