I have noticed a difference in the binding of keys to elevator trim and adjustable stabilizer.

The elevator trim can be bound to separate commands for up and down, but the adjustable stabilizer must be bound to an axis, or two buttons for up and down.

My controller has a rotary encoder as elevator trim wheel, and when bound to elevator trim up and down, it works perfectly. But when bound to the adjustable stabilizer commands, it is extremely slow, needing several revolutions to register a stabilizer change.

If I bind the adj. stab. to buttons that can be held (POV hat UP/DN), it works just fine though.

Would it be possible to get separate keybindings for adjustable stabilizer up, and adjustable stabilizer down, perhaps? Also, why are the keybindings for trim and adj. stab. different from eachother? They are basically the same function, but different aircraft...

Edit: I understand that there’s a desired «slow motion» effect of the adjustable stabilizer, so it won’t be exploited for maneuvering. I’m just pointing out the difference in speed between holding a button and using repetitive keypresses. Just hoping for a technical change here.

I would like all pitch trim and stabilizer to be able to set in the axis, so i could use (thumb) wheel for all planes. It would be more realistic in VVS planes too. FW is different, buttons are fine.

Would be great to have a choice between axis and buttons, for all such controls.

This is possible for some controls, and some behave differently when mapped as an axis or buttons.
