Pupo Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Does anyone know what are these files for and If there is something cool we can do with them? They are located in the plane 3D models folder ( eg.: data/graphics/planes/plane_model/plane_model.col ). I was able to parse them and render them, and they look like either low quality models of the plane for long distance rendering, or they are used for damage and collision model. Anyone has fiddled with these before? Cheers 1
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Yes, the .col files were very interesting at first because they have geometry in plain text. However, it seems that they are not very useful without their corresponding .mgm files. Sadly, those have a binary format that is rather confusing.
SL19711105buhesulong Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 COL是模型的损坏设定文件,通过修改可以在你飞机在受到炮弹打击时不会受到伤害。 Col is the damage setting file of the model, which can be modified so that your aircraft will not be hurt when it is hit by a shell.
