Help with skins

Where do I put the dds files please help. I DL skins from here jut don't know where to put them .

Put it in

data/graphics/skins/ ("Plane folder" depending on skin downloaded)

Use custom skin to use it.

Okay I got steam ver and reg. ver tried that didn't work will try again

From memory Steam should be like this, example is default change the C: to wherever your Steam is

 

[C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\IL2 Sturmovik Battle of ................\Data\Graphics\Skins] folder.

You should then be able to access the skins from the Plane Setup menu after you start the game under Paint Schemes>Custom.

It is not so obvious where to find user-made skins.

I the skin selection at the right it says "Custom" - you need to move the mouse there to also get "Personal", or however they are called there.
