Skyhawk83 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Hello, I'm using Thrustmaster T1600M joistick and throttle. I have an issue with trim on my P40. I use POV hat on throttle for triming the aircraft, but its not possible to set trim smoothly. Trim is changed by 3 or 10% on every key press. I tried to use regular keys on keyboard for trimming, but result was the same. Do you have any idea how to slove this issue?
VesseL Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 (edited) Hi. In other thread someone had same kind of a issue, and his issue did solve by calibrating the throttle, so try that. It can be anything thou. Check also control settings, key mapping, if that might help. Hope you find the solution. Edited April 28, 2018 by VesseL
Skyhawk83 Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 Thx for advice. I solved this problem by setting keyboard commands in TARGET GUI. I set 33ms impulse for keys used for trimming, and it works fine.
Art-J Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Coming from DCS I admit trims response to digital input (key/button) in this sim is generally excessive. Makes fine trimming more difficult than it could've been, while not everyone wants to use external software, like TARGET to tune it. A bit annoying compared to other sim platforms, but one can get used to it after a while - short tapping the key or button does the job. 1
Sokol1 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 I remember in early versions some players complaining that Bf 109 trim (Stabilizer Adjust) adjust are too slow - maybe for the trick of bind this trim in joystick Y axis.
