Free this station dialog stuck

Riding tank (multiplayer). Unasked, someone jumps into my gunner position before I have the chance to lock the gunner station. I evict the unwelcome guest and drive on.

But an annoying 'Free this station' dialog is now stuck in game, moves with the mouse pointer, visible no matter whether I jump to the driver position, back to gunner, view map ...

I thought this was a rare occurrence, but currently, every time expel an unwelcome squatter from my turret, the stuck dialog happens, the dialog remains stuck until I finish the mission.
