Help with the engine control of the Bf110 requested

Hi Guys,

I have some problems with the engine settings of the Bf110, although I can control each engine individually (ATA, RPM, auto / man proppitch, RPM up / down, engine on / off)

without selecting a motor. But the oil / water coolers can be proven under the individual engines, but do not react in the game.

Does anyone have any idea what is not working?

Use the keyboard commands.

Hi LukeFF,

there are no keyboard commands in this section of the engine management. I am talking about the section on the engine management where you have all controls

sorted out for engine 1, 2 and 3. The normal settings are working perfect, but not when i try to map all my controls seperatly for each engine to my controls, so that

i dont need to select an engine.

Looks like this is not possible in the moment, even when you can programm them in the settings. This i got from the german forum.

Unfortunately,  you have to Select an engine for certain controls on the BF-110 and a couple of other planes, as there are no individual controls for #1 or #2 engine for water radiators, oil radiators, or manual pitch.  Also, in all planes with featherable propellors, there are no individual engine controls to feather 1 or feather 2, and you also have to select the engine first.  I'm hoping that at some point, the developers will update the commands so that we can have dedicated controls specific to engine 1 or engine 2 for these things.

just to complete , i ve just took a look into key settings names in case you re not sure which ones they are :

-switch engine 1 control on/off

-switch engine 2 control on/off

-switch engine 3 control on/off

first i thought it was strange way to setup key s but the good is you need to setup and remember less keys as you can use

the same as the single engine planes, hope it help

Yes, I know the commands for engine selection.  My point is that it would be a lot more convenient and realistic (and consistent with other multi-engined airplanes) to have discreet engine-specific commands for BF-110/HE-111 Oil Radiators,  and feather controls, and BF-110 Water radiators.   For example, there are two separate knobs in the 110 cockpit that control the coolant shutters...there is little reason not to have an open/close command (or actual axis) for engine #1 and a separate open/close command for engine #2, especially since that is predominant command paradigm found on most other multiplayer aircraft.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your answers and help. I've programmed the controls for the Bf110 now so that both engines are selected to control all the coolers, but I can still control each engine individually with respect to engine on / off, auto / manual Proppitch and Proppitch up / down. This really helps in the fight, if you can regulate the damaged engine with respect to the Proppitch and ATA, without having to select anything. If I then take care of the coolers of the damaged engine in a quiet minute, I just need to deactivate the engine that I do not need and can close the coolers of the damaged engine. Then deactivate the stationary engine and reactivate the other one. Is for me the easiest solution, because I fly without HuD and I can only see / feel at the position of the switch which motors are selected or not. In short I can blindly fly the Bf110.
