Love to have that truck, never driven with a twin stick though. Driving semis is really fun but stressful when doing it for work.

Honestly, Twin Sticks aren't that hard. You just shift a Main Box and whenever you need to Split a Gear, you Split, but otherwise it's not too much workload.

Now, I had a chance to try an old 6x6 Magirus Deutz Fire Engine once and that was something else. It's a 5+1+R Main (5 Road + 1 Crawl) with a 3 Way Gear Split (Hi, Direct, Lo) and a 2+Overdrive Transfer Box (Off and Direct Onroad Gear, and in Onroad with RWD selected the Overdrive could be Added) That's 54 Gears. And 30 of those are Road Gears on 3 Sticks, and you actually have to shift between the Overdrive and Direct Road Gears and remember which is next to which and 4th and 5th Gear are closer together than the others, so the Splits between these two are pretty chaotic.

Compared to that, a simple twin stick seems almost trivial, unless it's a Spicer 20 Speed. That thing was created by Satan. It's a 5 Speed Gearbox with 4 Splits that are neither Range nor Gear, but somewhere inbetween.

Interesting, would definitely take a little learning, I've only ever driven with an eaton fuller with the range and splitter selectors in the stick. Would love to drive the old time trucks for nostalgia but I'll stick with the modern single shifter for everyday driving.
