When we know more about BoS and how missions, skins, patches, and other peripherals will be handled then there can be some support considered for BoS by the Mission4Today team. When this happens BoS won't be hosted on M4T though since its forum and download platform are at a development dead end since neither are supported any longer. Any future support for BoS by the M4T team will be done using the Airwarfare website since the Joomla forums and download platforms that it utilizes are still being actively supported by their developers. I truly hope that we can find a way to help support BoS in a similar manner that M4T has given to the old IL-2 lineage these past ten years.

 

M4T will continue to be utilized for all patches, missions, skins and peripherals for IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and the legacy products of that IL-2 lineage.

I agree.. remember .. the missions at M4T are all user made.. and that will be the key to whether or not this sim flies or crashes. If it is user friendly in all the areas that will allow a community to grow around it then it will be successful.. even if it has issues in other areas .. If missionbuilding, skinning, online flying and immersion is done well this thing will take off.

Mission for today was a horrible website. It was like they hadn't updated the webpage format in about 10 years.

if they follow the RoF model then user made skins, campaigns, missions will be permitted...

I never bought into CloD - the discussions were so negative, and the bugs so crawly I just never got to the point of purchase, even when steam tried to give it away...

if it follows iL2 epic original grail - then it will be the same as RoF...

 

I cant imagine 777 studios closing it off - except maybe initially - to minimize release problems...

m4T was not one of my favorites, but iL2Skins was...
