checking update cache

trying to update to 3.002 and it goes through checking update cache once, then again, freezing right at the end.

 

if it ever gets to downloading, it says its at 0.01 kb/s or something like that.

 

if i try web distribution it maybe goes to 1 or 2 kb/s.

 

restarted my router/modem and my pc, no help.

 

id rather not do a fresh install if i can help it, i dont want to lose my binds or wait hours to play, then again that would be less time than waiting for a fix i suppose.

 

anyone have a similar issue?

 

oh, and i submitted a ticket as well, i just figured the community might have some insight as well.

so....after trying it for the....12th or so time? it worked fine (in web distribution mode) and its done...maybe it was just slow from everyone else trying to get the update?
